THE MULTISPORT CLASSIC IS BACK!

Yes that's right, the iconic multisport race from the 80's, 90's and 2000's is back, just based on the other side of the lake!

There's a few changes to aimed at getting more people onto the water and into the trails - paddling can be on a range of water craft, the cycling is all on mountain bikes, there are two distances to choose from and can be completed as an individual, in pairs or teams of 2 or 3. So choose your distance, maybe a team mate or two, and get out to Mangamingi on Saturday 22nd March 2025!

BIKE-

The mountain biking course uses gravel roads, 4WD tracks and farm tracks that have a few hills thrown in for good measure!

The Rotorangi Gutbuster Version 2.0 is designed to bring back the good old vibes of classic multisport events- yes there will be some serious athletes having a decent crack, but we definitely want to celebrate and support those new to this type of thing or just want a different type of outdoors challenge. Hence the range of water craft you can bring, the mountain biking (not road) and the good times vibes of holding an event all within the fabulous Collier family farm. (It's literally right across the lake from the original start at Glen Nui)

We also pay tribute to Graham Campbell who was the driving force behind the events' success over many years.
